Job Description

The Services Engineer plays a pivotal role in planning and coordinating services consultants and trades for a new project.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in design management of building services to ensure documentation meets specifications, cost budgets, and program requirements.
  • Coordinate building services engineering consultants and subcontractors where appointed.
  • Assist in identifying cost savings and product selection with the Contracts Administrator to achieve best value.
  • Review all documentation for adequacy of design input.
  • Monitor production of workshop drawings and as-built documents.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control, engineering, and safety requirements during construction and plant installation.
  • Participate in handover and commissioning of the project, including submission of final documentation and warranties.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience in coordinating mechanical and/or electrical design, construction, and installation activities on building projects.
  • Effective communication, influence, and relationship-building skills at all levels.
  • Ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
