Lead AI Architect for Complex Cloud Solutions

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Gen AI Developer to design and implement cutting-edge Amazon Q and Gen AI Application solutions. As part of our AWS Global Services team, you will collaborate with customers to architect transformational Gen AI solutions and drive adoption of AWS Gen AI services.

This role requires strong leadership skills to lead and architect enterprise-scale implementations of Amazon Q and Gen AI Applications. You will also develop and implement strategies for training, fine-tuning, and optimizing generative AI Application Design. Additionally, you will design and integrate Gen AI applications into existing third-party applications.

As a mentor, you will provide technical guidance to junior team members and lead cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of generative AI outputs into end-user applications. Building and maintaining relationships with key business and technical stakeholders is also essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and architect complex cloud-based solutions using Amazon Q and Gen AI Applications.
  • Develop and implement strategies for training, fine-tuning, and optimizing generative AI Application Design.
  • Design and integrate Gen AI applications into existing third-party applications.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance across multiple customer engagements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of generative AI outputs into end-user applications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business and technical stakeholders.

About the Role:

AWS Global Services is a team of experts who help our customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Gen AI Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative Gen AI solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 7+ years of experience in architecture/design and implementation of cloud-based solutions.
  • 7+ years of consulting or professional services experience.
  • 5+ years of database experience (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis).
  • 5+ years of software development with object-oriented language experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience.
Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the requirements above, we are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience leading the architecture and implementation of AI/ML workloads.
  • Proven track record of delivering robust, scalable solutions in complex technical environments.
  • International consulting or professional services sales and delivery experience.
  • Strong track record of CI/CD implementation in enterprise environments.
  • Experience evaluating customer market conditions, organizational readiness, and C-Level engagement.
