Intensive Care Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated professionals to join our team as Intensive Care Specialists. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals to gain further experience and training in Critical Care and Retrieval Medicine.

As an Intensive Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill and injured patients requiring medical retrieval from pre-hospital or health facility sites. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • Completion of at least four years residency since graduation with 12 months recent experience in Intensive Care and/or Retrieval Medicine
  • Hold the Part 1 examination of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM), ANZCA or FACEM
  • Completed or near completion of the Part 2 examination CICM
  • Physical and psychological ability to function competently in the pre-hospital and inter-hospital environments
