Optimizing Business Outcomes as a Commercial Manager

A key leadership position exists for a Commercial Manager who will drive business outcomes and optimize capital allocation across our national row-crop portfolio. As a trusted advisor to the CEO, you will work closely with Operations and farm managers to inform strategic decisions, develop actionable insights, and foster collaboration among teams.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Capital Allocation Strategies: Develop and execute disciplined investment plans aligned with our corporate objectives.
- Risk Management and Pricing: Oversee commodity marketing functions and lead pricing strategy development in partnership with internal and external experts.
- Operational Insights: Provide scenario analysis, performance reporting, and forward forecasts that link paddock-level decisions to financial and capital outcomes.
- Efficiency and Productivity: Align farm plans with top-quartile benchmarks in efficiency, productivity, people engagement, and carbon emissions.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Lead the implementation of a data-first architecture that safeguards intellectual property and enables informed decision making.
- Metrics and Governance: Champion metrics measuring operational excellence and return on invested capital, ensuring robust governance and reporting frameworks.
