Job Overview

As a driving examiner, you will be responsible for assessing the competency of applicants for various driver's licenses. This role involves conducting thorough evaluations to determine an individual's ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of applicants to evaluate their knowledge and skills related to driving.
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders on matters related to driver licensing and road safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service information on relevant computer systems.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve key performance targets and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Offer training and guidance to less experienced driving examiners as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license is mandatory for this position.
  • A Heavy Combination (HC) class driver's license, held for at least 12 months, is highly desirable.
Travel and Reporting:
  • This role may require travel to various locations.
  • The successful candidate will report directly to the Manager (Customer Service Centre).
