The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the receipt and storage of materials, as well as coordinating the delivery of goods to various areas. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receipt and storage of materials in a warehouse/laydown yard environment.
  • Coordinate the delivery of goods to various areas, using a truck and diesel pod to refuel generators and equipment.
  • Ensure equipment and machinery are well-maintained, performing pre-start checks and flagged maintenance.
  • Set up laydown areas and manage storage control.

About You

We are looking for a physically fit and experienced Logistics/Materials Officer who can work a 10/4 roster. You will need to hold a current driver's license, QLD construction induction, and LF forklift license. Warehousing/laydown experience is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • QLD construction induction.
  • LF forklift license.
  • Warehousing/laydown experience.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment and drug and alcohol screening.
  • Ability to start in 2-4 weeks and work remotely.

Desirable Requirements:

  • LR/MR/HR license.
