About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Arcare Aged Care as a Quality Support Officer. As a member of our quality team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high standards of care we provide to our residents are maintained.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support Residence Managers in ensuring systems and processes are maintained.
  • Accurate auditing and reporting to Residence Managers, Regional Operational Managers, State Operational Managers, the General Manager Clinical Governance and Client Safety is conducted in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the quality improvement processes at Arcare.
  • Assist Residence Managers and other staff in preparation for accreditation visits by the Quality Agency.
  • Provide education to staff as appropriate regarding the accreditation standards and other quality issues.
  • Act as a mentor to managers and staff in developing their understanding of aged care quality and compliance.

Requirements

  • Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Act, Standards, Guidelines, and Regulations.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
