Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Security Operations team. As a Senior Security Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving our clients' security operations capabilities.

You will work closely with clients to understand their unique security requirements and assess their current security posture. Your expertise in SIEM tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, and Cortex will enable you to provide expert guidance and recommendations on the best security practices, risk management strategies, and robust security policies.

You will design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures, and work alongside cross-functional teams to deploy state-of-the-art technologies. Your extensive knowledge of Australian cybersecurity regulations and industry-specific requirements will ensure compliance and regulatory adherence.

Your role will involve conducting thorough security assessments, identifying potential security breaches, and developing reports and findings that drive management decisions and actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in SIEM tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, and Cortex
  • Strong knowledge of Australian cybersecurity regulations
  • Experience in designing and implementing SOC processes, including incident detection, response, and recovery
  • Familiarity with Australian Data Breach Notification scheme and incident response protocols
  • Advanced threat detection techniques such as behavioral analytics, AI/ML-driven threat hunting, and threat intelligence feeds
