Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, marketing, and finance, to align inventory goals with overall business objectives and expected customer service levels.
- Develop and implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts, excess inventory, and reducing scrap of expired inventory.
- Generate reports and provide analysis on inventory performance metrics, such as fill rates, stockouts, and inventory turnover.
- Facilitate and lead inventory review meetings to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Provide training and support to staff members on inventory-related processes and procedures as needed.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement activities for the monthly Demand Management Review and APAC Alignment review process in the APAC region.
- Facilitate the monthly country demand review meetings and APAC alignment review meeting.
- Ownership and oversight of all inventory replenishment techniques introduced to the APAC region, including regional organizations.
- Drive change and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by challenging the status quo and using a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Implement key performance indicators to measure the performance of the APAC, across all areas, including demand management and inventory.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Demand and Inventory Manager who possesses a Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or logistics. You should have experience in demand, inventory management, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in driving improvements and achieving results.
You should have excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels, are essential. Knowledge of inventory management best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements is also required.
Experience with an ERP system is highly desirable. If you are a strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and make data-driven decisions, we would love to hear from you.
