Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team as a Registrar. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced surgeons, gaining exposure to various subspecialties and developing their surgical skills.

The role involves managing patients on the ward, assisting at orthopaedic operations, and reviewing inpatients pre- and post-operatively under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing surgical assistant skills in the operating theatre
  • Reviewing patients in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit under supervision
  • Reviewing inpatients pre- and post-operatively as requested by the Accredited Visiting Medical Officer
  • Participating in Orthopaedic Department meetings
Requirements:
  • Full AHPRA registration
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in specialty
  • Recent experience working in Australia
