Job Profile:

The Agency Security Advisor plays a pivotal role in spearheading and managing security programs for the Attorney-General's Department. They provide expert, strategic counsel on security matters across the organization, including leadership in protective, physical, and personnel security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level policy advice to governments, clients, and stakeholders
  • Develop and contribute to security management policies and procedures
  • Think strategically, logically, and analytically to research, analyze problems, and provide innovative solutions

Essential Qualifications:

  • National Police Certificate clearance satisfactory to the AGD
  • A valid Australian driver's licence (equivalent to minimum class C)
  • Some out-of-hours work, interstate, and intrastate travel may be required
