Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated professional to work with Aboriginal children and families, government, and sector partners to reduce the over-representation of Aboriginal children in care and contact with the Child Protection system.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments, develop, implement, and review plans for children and young people
  • Prepare accurate documents and reports that meet audience needs
  • Collaborate with service providers and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
About You / Qualifications
  • Demonstrated understanding of our vision and purpose
  • Appreciation of Aboriginal societies and cultures with ongoing knowledge of issues impacting Aboriginal communities
  • Mandatory: A recognised Social Work degree or similar welfare/behavioral degree, or Diploma of Community Services with focus on human behavior, family dynamics, and/or trauma
