Senior Legislative Reform Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Legislative Reform Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-profile legislative reform projects within a Queensland Government Department.

  • Develop and implement project plans that support the effective management of legislative change initiatives under the Right to Information Act 2009 and the Information Privacy Act 2009.
  • Oversee the establishment of data breach notification functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Foster collaboration among Queensland Government agencies to promote understanding and adoption of new legislative obligations.
  • Maintain regular communication with project directors and executive sponsors on progress, risks, and milestones.
About You:
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex legislative change projects within a government department.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, despite challenging stakeholder environments.
  • Relevant certification or qualification in Project Management.
  • Ability to develop clear project plans, including key deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
