Project Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the delivery of legislative reform projects within a government department.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful change, with potential for contract extension beyond the initial term.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver project plans to support the Right to Information Act.
  • Establish a data breach notification function under the Information Privacy Act.
  • Engage and support other government agencies in understanding and adopting new legislative obligations.
  • Ensure project objectives, stakeholder expectations, and deliverables are met.
  • Manage all aspects of project delivery including resource allocation, risk management, and benefits realisation.
  • Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, and milestones.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering legislative change projects within a government department.
  • Success in managing projects to tight timeframes and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Relevant Project Management certification or qualification.
  • Strong ability to develop clear project plans and execute key deliverables.
