Job Role Summary

This is a key position in our operations team that plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of IT and airborne solutions that protect and advance the Australian way of life.

Our matrix engineering team is a centralised group of highly skilled engineers and technical specialists who support multiple programs across Defence, Intelligence, and Federal Government portfolios.

The team operates within a matrix structure providing flexible, scalable, and expert support to multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage resource allocations and oversee onboarding/offboarding processes to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Coordinate internal events and prepare stakeholder communications to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Track, plan, and submit contractor extensions to ensure continuity and compliance with internal processes.
  • Maintain accurate program documentation, registers, and templates to support business needs.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project coordination, operations, or administrative support.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Power Point, and Share Point.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with exposure to IT, Defence, or Federal Government settings.
