Job Opportunity

The position of Employee Benefits Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the administration of laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an assistant to management in planning, organizing and supervising administrative operations related to laboratory services
  • Assume responsibility for ensuring continuity of operations in the absence of senior staff
  • Exercise discretion to take measures necessary for the proper functioning of the department
  • Provide ongoing support for day-to-day activities at regional facilities
  • Support local initiatives at other facilities within the zone
  • Evaluate quality of services provided to patients in compliance with laws, regulations and standards of practice
  • Develop activities based on priority objectives of the Network's strategic plan and projects linked to laboratory services optimization

Requirements:

  • A degree from a recognized school of medical laboratory technology or equivalent in health administration
  • A minimum of three years' relevant experience supervising or managing staff with a strong aptitude for coaching
  • Minimum of five years' experience in the healthcare field
  • Proficiency in computer tools and office software
  • Strong leadership skills including planning, program development and evaluation
  • Ability to use evidence-based data in decision-making
  • Excellent interpersonal skills fostering a welcoming climate, client care and effective communication
