Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Moulding Technician/Die Setter to join our team at a state-of-the-art injection moulding facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for die-setting moulding machines, troubleshooting, and optimizing moulds/tools. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Die-Setting and Machine Operation: Prepare moulds and set up moulding machines for production runs, including start-ups and shutdowns.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve technical issues with moulds and machines, and optimize moulds/tools for improved efficiency and quality.
  • Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of moulding machines.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to production staff and other teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant trade qualifications and plastics experience are highly desirable.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of tool trials, moulding, and machine robots is essential.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
