Our client is an Australian manufacturer of high quality PVC products and componentry used in construction across Australia and New Zealand. They run multiple extrusion and moulding lines from their dedicated state-of-the-art Melbourne factory. The company is growing quickly and this key role is now available
Your new role will see you become the lead person in setting up, operating and changing over injection moulding and extrusion machinery in our client's factory. You will be hands-on and willing to lead by example on the factory floor. Good communication, an eye for detail, a quality mindset and ability to solve problems will be the key to your success.
It's not mandatory, but you will likely have a trade background as well as experience in plastics manufacturing especially tool-setting with demonstrable experience in plastics manufacturing.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Work Location: In person
