The Role

As the Senior Finance Officer, you will be responsible for providing support and advice in relation to financial management, including SAP system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Financial Services team to provide financial management and SAP system maintenance across the department.
  • Undertake general financial activities, including financial reporting and financial operations tasks.
  • Provide advice and support to business areas within the department on financial management and SAP systems.
Requirements

To be successful as the Senior Finance Officer, you must have the following:

SAP Financial Systems Experience
  • Managing procurement and financial delegations tables.
  • Managing vendor and customer financial delegations tables.
  • Creation and maintenance of cost centres and internal orders in SAP.
  • Cost centre and Internal Order hierarchy maintenance.
Additional Requirements
  • Experience in financial management activities, including reporting, financial delegations, accounts payable.
  • Strong IT systems experience, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Sound research and analytical skills. Understanding and experience in using financial management systems.
  • Organisational skills, such as the ability to set priorities, coordinate activities, and meet deadlines in a self-driven, team environment.
