Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the distribution centre, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure their growth and success.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and procurement, to ensure a seamless supply chain and achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale distribution centres, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and business planning systems, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Word, and warehouse management software.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, build strong relationships, and drive team towards a customer-centric culture.
