About this Opportunity:

SULO MGB Australia is subcontracted by councils and customers to undertake in-field maintenance of their MGB fleet.

This maintenance includes distributing new bins, replacing damaged bins, removing unwanted or stolen bins, replacing or installing stands and repairing parts on bins.

The role requires the Field Service Technician to complete all jobs as assigned via electronic handheld devices within the required KPIs each day to ensure customer satisfaction.

Each job needs to be documented and the device returned each day with appropriate notes entered explaining where tasks were unable to be completed or varied from original instructions.

All tasks are to be performed within company guidelines, work instructions, and applicable laws.

Accidents, whether personal or property-related, are to be reported immediately to the supervisor.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • FOLLOWING ALL WRITTEN AND VERBAL PROCEDURES AND WORK INSTRUCTIONS, PARTICULARLY ADHERING TO SAFETY ASPECTS
  • ATTENDING EACH ADDRESS AND COMPLETING TASKS AS PER THE JOB ALLOCATION, PAYING ATTENTION TO ANY SUPPLIED INSTRUCTIONS
  • RECORDING STATUS OF EACH TASK COMPLETED ON THE DEVICE, NOTING PARTS USED, STATUS, AND COMMENT WHERE APPLICABLE
  • CONTACTING THE FIELD MAINTENANCE ADMINISTRATOR AS REQUIRED FOR QUERIES ON JOBS
  • COMPLETING ALL TASKS ISSUED BY SULO CORRECTLY AND RETURNING THEM DAILY, INCLUDING INCOMPLETE TASKS MARKED AS 'FUTILE' WITH A PHOTOGRAPH CONFIRMING THE INCAPABILITY TO COMPLETE
  • REPORTING ANY ISSUES THAT MAY HAVE OCCURRED DURING THE DAY TO THE FIELD MAINTENANCE ADMINISTRATOR; ACCIDENTS MUST BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY TO THE SUPERVISOR
  • PREPARING AND LOADING TRUCKS FOR WORK EACH DAY AS PER JOBS ISSUED
  • KEEPING VEHICLES ALWAYS CLEAN INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY
  • CHECKING ALL FLUID LEVELS IN VEHICLES WEEKLY
  • UNDERTAKING A DAILY PRE-START CHECKLIST FOR VEHICLES BEING DRIVEN
  • REPORTING ANY MECHANICAL OR OTHER PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH VEHICLES AS THEY OCCUR
  • ENSURING VEHICLES ARE SERVICED AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME AND TYRES ARE ALWAYS AT A SAFE LEGAL LEVEL
  • ADHERING TO OH&S REQUIREMENTS, INCLUDING SAFE WORK PRACTICES AND SAFE DRIVING PRACTICES
