Wellbeing Leader

We are seeking an experienced Wellbeing Leader to join our team and promote the mental, emotional and social wellbeing of students and staff.

The successful candidate will drive a whole-College approach to wellbeing and engagement for staff and students from P-12.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Designing and implementing P - 12 staff and student wellbeing programs and initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Working with students, staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to wellbeing.
  • Resourcing: Providing opportunities for staff and students on mental health awareness and wellbeing strategies.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Assessing the effectiveness of wellbeing initiatives and making adjustments based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Advocacy: Promoting a positive school culture that prioritises mental health, inclusivity, and support for all students and staff.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing strategic advice, developing and implementing wellbeing and engagement programs within a large complex school environment.
  • Ability to align wellbeing strategies to an organisational strategic plan and continuous improvement agenda.
  • Experience in gathering and analysing wellbeing data to inform strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to develop and sustain productive relationships within and beyond the school community.
