Job Title

We are seeking a Mechanical Project Lead to coordinate the design, procurement and construction elements of our Material Handling Package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engineering services to support project outcomes within agreed budgets and schedules.
  • Produce high-quality engineering design deliverables for project execution.
  • Delegate tasks as necessary while maintaining adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and coordinate design efforts to achieve satisfactory results.
  • Collaborate with Technical Specialists to ensure specification compliance and technical integrity of design.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of systems across the division.
  • Manage customer relationships to achieve mutually beneficial technical program outcomes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant postgraduate experience in engineering/construction environments.
  • Familiarity with determining site layout, providing engineering input to design modeling of civil roads, drainage and siteworks, reviewing geotechnical reports, reviewing civil drawings and 3D models, determining loads and load combinations, performing soil-structure interaction analysis, designing simple foundations, slabs on ground and retaining structures, producing calculation reports.
  • Understanding of civil construction techniques, traffic analysis, geotechnical site investigation, soil-structure interaction, drainage.
