Facilities Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the management of facility refurbishment programs, ensuring a high standard of presentation across our care homes.

  • The successful candidate will liaise with stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and product delivery.
  • Conducting regular home inspections to monitor progress, identify defects, and implement corrective actions will be a key responsibility.
  • Maintaining facilities in accordance with safety and compliance standards is essential.
  • Developing and implementing emergency response plans will also be required.
  • Travel may be necessary for this role.

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a refurbishment coordinator or project management role is required.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements specific to aged care facilities is essential.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills are crucial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success.
  • The ability to negotiate contracts with vendors and manage budgets effectively is also required.
