**Operations Manager Job Opportunity**

As a seasoned Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our organization. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that strengthen and structure our manufacturing operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safety First - Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Oversee daily operations, including people, quality, performance, and job completion targets.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace.
  • Provide mentorship and support to Production and Warehouse Managers.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction and production efficiency projects.
  • Improve reporting mechanisms to capture manufacturing efficiencies and losses.
  • Own warehouse efficiencies, stock control targets, and slow-moving stock management.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience as an Operations or Plant Manager.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and quality workmanship.
  • Implement and manage all ISO processes and protocols.
  • Extensive skills and experience in CNC Machines, turrets, brake press, laser equipment, and general fabrication.
  • Trade qualification in a relevant field (Manufacturing, shopfitting, engineering).
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
