**Job Overview**

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our organisation in its growth phase, providing commercial legal support on various matters.

The ideal candidate is a skilled lawyer with experience in construction, infrastructure, energy, or real estate law, seeking an in-house position.

This role reports directly to the General Counsel and works closely with the business to provide timely, practical legal advice on diverse business matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely, practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on various business matters.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, project documentation, and commercial agreements.
  • Support dispute resolution, litigation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks, policies, and training across the organisation.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Conduct internal investigations and manage audits.

As a key member of the team, you will partner with senior stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance and sound governance.

Requirements:
  • Hold 4-7 years' post-qualification experience, preferably gained in a top-tier firm or major infrastructure/energy business.
  • Have a strong background in construction, infrastructure, or real estate law, with complex project management skills.
  • Possess excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Be commercially-minded, pragmatic, and confident in advising in a fast-paced environment.
