We are seeking a highly skilled Technical SEO Manager to join our team. As a Technical SEO Manager, you will be responsible for owning the technical SEO strategy, bridging the gap between SEO vision and engineering execution, and leading initiatives that elevate search visibility across our global brands.
You will drive technical SEO strategy implementation across all platforms in partnership with the SEO Lead, brief and liaise with Product and Engineering teams on technical SEO requirements and new feature development, conduct advanced technical SEO audits, and oversee the implementation of optimisation initiatives for regulated markets.
You will translate SEO requirements into technical specifications and JIRA tickets for engineering teams, oversee site architecture, crawlability, rendering strategies, and performance optimisation across all properties, analyse and report on technical SEO performance metrics to stakeholders, establish and maintain technical SEO standards, documentation, and best practices for cross-team adoption, research and implement emerging SEO technologies and automation tools to scale operations, coordinate with external vendors and third-party providers on technical integrations, and support the SEO Lead in capacity planning and resource allocation for technical initiatives.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- 4+ years of experience in technical SEO, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
- Proven experience managing technical SEO for large-scale websites (100,000+ pages).
- Strong background in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Vue/Svelte).
- Experience with headless CMS implementations (Sanity preferred).
- Proficiency with technical SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console).
- Demonstrated ability to brief and collaborate with engineering teams.
