Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Next Gen Ryde is seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead day-to-day operations in our Health & Fitness department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring member, guest, and staff safety while overseeing daily running of the club’s Health & Fitness, swim, and creche departments.

In the absence of the General Manager, this position assumes overall responsibility for managing the club. You will collaborate with Heads of Department Managers to drive business strategy and foster innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an effective management structure that reflects Next Gen requirements
  • Lead by example to meet expectations for sales, customer service, employee engagement, and goal accomplishment
  • Recruit, select, hire, and train all department staff
  • Manage and develop staff within the club
  • Participate in ongoing communication with the General Manager, Heads of Departments, and staff as required
  • Ensure development, implementation, delivery, and achievement of Annual Operating Plan
