Economic Development Leader

We are seeking a strategic leader to drive the development of Aboriginal economic initiatives, leveraging partnerships and collaborations to foster growth and prosperity.
Main Responsibilities- Promote and implement departmental priorities and strategies that enhance economic outcomes for Aboriginal people, communities, and businesses.
- Collaborate with various teams to embed an Aboriginal perspective in all work programs and ensure inclusivity in regional NSW priorities.
- In support of NSW Closing the Gap Priority Reform 5 (Employment, Business Growth and Economic Prosperity), this role will focus on developing aspirations that grow the Aboriginal business sector, improve employment and training pathways, and deliver economic benefits to Aboriginal communities.
- Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
- Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
- Be accepted as such by the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community.
