Engagement Overview:
Green Light is engaged in a project for a prominent organization and is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to enhance our project delivery team.
This role involves collaboration with a system integrator that directly interacts with end clients, focusing on support and maintenance for an enterprise-level customer.
Clearance Requirement:
An active Negative Vetting (NV1) Clearance is mandatory – only Australian Citizens with an active NV1 will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a Network Engineer for an enterprise-level client
- Providing support and maintenance for extensive network systems
- Managing LAN/WAN and controlled network environments
- Exhibiting strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Utilizing expertise with Cisco Nexus routers & switches, Cisco ISE, Aruba, and/or Arista
- Overseeing support cases to ensure proper documentation, tracking, resolution, and timely follow-ups.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Network Engineer role
- Experience in large data centers and/or enterprise environments
- Demonstrated proficiency with Cisco R&S, Cisco ISE, Aruba, and/or Arista
- Familiarity with Viptela-based SD-WAN is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of IP technologies, including data communication, MPLS, BGP, and VPN, as well as telephony knowledge of SIP protocol, trunking, and call routing
- Solid experience with Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls & wireless technologies (WLCs & Meraki)
- Understanding of F5 (LTM, GTM, ASM) and Cisco ASA is advantageous
- Minimum CCNA Certification; CCNP preferred or equivalent
