Role Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing asbestos samples and providing accurate results.

  • You will work with a range of matrices including building materials, soil, water and dust samples.
  • Your tasks will include routine preparation of samples, asbestos fibre counting and identification.
  • You will also participate in external and internal proficiency testing as required by the business.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sample Preparation: Prepare soil and building materials for analysis.
  • Asbestos Fibre Counting and Identification: Perform asbestos fibre counting and identification on a range of matrices.
  • Proficiency Testing: Participate in external and internal proficiency testing as required.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in asbestos analysis using PLM/Dispersion staining technique and PCM is desirable.
  • Flexibility with working hours and tasks.
