Infrastructure Tax Specialist

The Infrastructure and Deals Tax group is seeking a tax professional to assist our clients with solving complex commercial and tax challenges. The successful candidate will work in the infrastructure, private equity, and large listed/unlisted corporate industries, assisting our clients with tax structuring and tax due diligence services.

We deliver effective solutions blending technical skills and strategy to advise these organisations with spectacular results. As a leader in the Infrastructure and Deals Tax team, you'll make a real impact in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of investment structures for our clients, including limited partnerships, taxation of trusts, and Managed Investment Trusts (MITs).
  • Work closely with our wider Tax and Financial Advisory business to support M&A projects.
  • Assist clients with Merger and Acquisition (M&A) activities, including tax structuring and tax due diligence services.
  • Research and analyse technical tax issues and preparation of tax reports.
  • Assist clients with their tax compliance, including preparing and/or reviewing of trust and company tax returns.

Requirements:

  • Professional tax advisory experience in a Professional Services setting.
  • Experience delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent written and communications skills.
  • The ability to collaborate and build relationships in a complex work environment.
  • Act with integrity and show care for the people you work with.
