Senior Project Manager Job

A high-level project manager is needed to oversee construction and upgrade projects across South East Queensland.

  • This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams and managing competing priorities.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in client-side project management for building construction/upgrade projects.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong knowledge of contract administration, including the role of Principal's Representative and Contract Superintendent.

  • Key Skills and Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in client-side project management for building construction/upgrade projects.
    • Strong knowledge of contract administration, including the role of Principal's Representative and Contract Superintendent.
    • Qualifications in building construction or a related discipline.
    • Sound understanding of contract law, industry standards, and stakeholder responsibilities.
    • Ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and manage competing priorities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing project reports and stakeholder updates.
    • Confidence working within government policies, WHS standards, delegations, and financial procedures.
    • Experience in government or large infrastructure organizations.
    • Familiarity with project profitability, fee proposals, and maintaining auditable records.
    • A mindset focused on improving business systems and processes.
