About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Klohn Crippen Berger. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will play a key role in providing design solutions for our clients in the mining, hydropower, environmental, transportation, geotechnical, oil & gas, and water resources sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop civil engineering solutions for a range of projects, including greenfield mine development, brownfield tailings dam raising, and mine closure land formation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external consultants to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored design solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our designs meet the highest standards.
  • Contribute to the development of our design standards and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across our projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in civil design and drafting, preferably in the mining or infrastructure sectors.
  • Well-developed design skills using AutoCad, 12D, and/or Civil 3D software.
  • Ability to learn construction staging and geological modelling software.
  • Experience working on large-scale mining projects.
  • Good understanding of civil and water projects.
  • Possess strong teamwork skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
