Job Overview

We seek an experienced Level 2 Pastoral Care Practitioner to join our team at Calvary Adelaide Hospital. As a key member of the Pastoral Care team, you will provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and carers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, confidential, and professionally informed pastoral care to address the emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones, respecting diverse beliefs and values.
  • Assess and develop personalized care plans to cater to the spiritual needs of patients within the routine scope of practice.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and concise records in accordance with organizational guidelines for data collection and documentation in medical records.

About You

  • A minimum of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent qualification.
  • Recent experience in hospital-based Pastoral Care, preferably with a similar level of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to practice within the scope of a pastoral care role.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal relationships.

Requirements

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum
