Job Description

The Snowy 2.0 project is a collaborative effort between WeBuild, Clough and Lane to design and construct one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

Located in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, this project aims to deliver a state-of-the-art infrastructure that showcases the future of renewable energy.

The Future Generation Joint Venture, on behalf of SC Hydro Pty Ltd, is currently recruiting for skilled Fitters/Plant Mechanics to join their team in the region.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair underground machines, including Tunnel Boring Machines and Jumbos.
  • Read and work with Hydraulic Schematic drawings, Pneumatic Systems, and Lubrication Systems.
  • Monitor sensors, grease, oil, and other ancillary systems.
  • Identify mechanical safety and technical hazards and notify relevant personnel.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks as well as extraordinary maintenance.
  • Support the production team with troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Currently hold a Mechanical Trade Certificate.
  • Hold a valid Driver's licence (HR preferable).
  • High risk work licence - Forklift, EWP, DG.
  • Working at Heights.
  • Confined Space.
  • General Construction Induction training (white card).
  • Right to work in Australia.
