Job Title: Payroll Officer

We are seeking a temporary Payroll Officer to assist our client in Sydney. The successful candidate will have experience with payroll processes, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the new starter process, employee terminations, superannuation, payroll tax, and end-of-month processes.
  • Process payroll and pay release processes to agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Generate and distribute management reports.
  • Monitor and respond to payroll queries and requests for information.
  • Ensure personnel data is up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Experience/exposure to a payroll process.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
  • Proven interpersonal skills with ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels.
  • Ability to learn new systems and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Location: Sydney, Australia
