The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We're looking for accomplished researchers to join our team as Quantitative Researchers. As a Quantitative Researcher, you'll apply mathematics, statistics, and programming to solve complex problems in our trading environment.

Your tasks will include:

  • Investigating research ideas through immersion in market data and leveraging tools in mathematics, statistics, and programming;
  • Working side-by-side with technologists to backtest results and implement trading strategies;
  • Continuing research on trading strategies to optimize their performance;
  • Discussing results and brainstorming new ideas with other researchers, strategists, and traders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics;
  • Exceptional mathematical problem-solving skills;
  • Solid communication skills, both in understanding others and making yourself clearly understood;
  • Strong, practical computing skills;
  • Experience working on in-depth research projects.
