Forensic Hydrologist


We are seeking an experienced Forensic Hydrologist to join our national team. This newly created position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development, with the potential to expand the hydrology team and lead a division of experts.


The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting flood risk assessments and flood determinations on affected sites relating to insurance claims. They will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and help people while working in a dynamic and rapidly growing consultancy.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct flood risk assessments and flood determinations on affected sites;
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and industry partners;
  • Participate in business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and developing proposals;

Requirements:



  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering - Civil preferred;
  • 5-10 years' experience as a Hydrologist, with a strong background in flood risk assessment and flood determination;
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Self-driven and outcome-focused, with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally;
  • Willingness to attend site visits and travel as required.
