About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced Mine Planning Engineer with a strong background in geology, mine design and planning software.
Key Responsibilities
  • To develop and maintain accurate short- and medium-term mine plans aligned to production targets.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Geotechnical Engineering, Ventilation and Survey departments.
  • Produce stope designs, development layouts and project planning activities using industry leading software.
  • Provide detailed mine plan approvals, stope notes and support long term (LOM) planning initiatives.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • Strong practical experience in Production Engineering, preferably with exposure to planning.
  • Proficiency in Deswik mine design software and Ventsim essential.
  • Familiarity with Australian mining safety regulations and standards desirable.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills required.
