Chainmesh Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Chainmesh Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating chainmesh machines in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties:

  1. Operate chainmesh machines in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Produce, roll, and pack chainmesh according to requirements.
  3. Operate Helicoil machine in a safe and efficient manner.
  4. Produce rolls of wire for stock and orders when required.
  5. Changeover of raw materials on machines.
  6. Troubleshoot machines when required.
  7. Maintain machines to the best of ability.
  8. Pack all products produced where required.
  9. Operate forklift.
  10. Stocktake raw materials.
  11. Manage stock levels of raw materials.
  12. Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping.
  13. Report any incidents immediately to Management.
  14. Close and secure doors at the end of each shift.
