Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitters

We are seeking skilled mechanical fitters to join our team in various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience with fixed plant maintenance, ideally in the mining or a similar industry.

The role involves conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on large-scale fixed plant machinery and equipment, attending breakdowns, and working with the planning team to improve plant reliability.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on large-scale fixed plant machinery and equipment
  • Attending breakdowns
  • Working with the planning team to improve plant reliability
  • Identifying business improvements and driving change
  • Small capital project work involving commissioning

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated safety commitment
  • Experience with fixed plant maintenance, ideally in mining or a similar industry
  • Australian or Australian recognised trade qualification
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • HRWL (DG, RB, CN, WP) highly desirable
  • Construction Induction Card
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing desirable
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
  • Ability to meet pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements
