About the Role

As a Senior Credit Risk Director within the construction sector, you will be responsible for leading the assessment and analysis of real estate transactions. Your role will involve managing due diligence, approval processes, and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the sourcing and management of transactions, developing lending structures, and conducting thorough due diligence
  • Manage approval processes, documentation, and foster stakeholder relationships
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for junior team members
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent the company in the building and construction industry, networking with key stakeholders
  • Contribute to the design, execution, and monitoring of a business plan
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial/corporate banking or a non-bank financial institution or real estate finance
  • 5+ years direct experience assessing real estate construction transactions
  • Proficiency in risk assessment, financial modelling, and negotiation
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
  • Ability to drive business strategies, foster team growth, and deliver exceptional customer experiences
