- Review and Improve Practices: Conduct thorough assessments of disaster events, identifying service gaps and contributing to the improvement of disaster recovery efforts.
- Travel Required: Travel is essential for this role; a valid driver's license is necessary for frequent travel to affected areas.
- Required Skills: A strong understanding of Queensland's disaster management system is crucial, as well as experience in community building, resilience planning, and disaster recovery.
- Personal Qualities: The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment is essential, along with excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
