Job Title: Senior Director of Data Governance

This role is responsible for leading the Department's data policy and governance to maximise the safe use and reuse of data.

  • Develop strategic advice on data governance and management
  • Utilise advanced data analytics to support policy, programs and services that improve health outcomes
  • Foster collaboration to integrate data and enhance the evidence base

About the Role:

The Health Economics and Research Division is a central hub for the Department's data analytics capabilities.

About You:

To be eligible for this role, you will need to have a tertiary qualification in public policy, public health, medicine, economics, statistics or related fields. Relevant legal qualifications are desirable for governance roles.

You will also need to meet the Department's pre-employment check requirements, including a satisfactory completion of a criminal history check and where relevant a Working with Children and Vulnerable People Check.
