Job Title: SCM Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SCM Procurement Specialist to manage duties associated with supplier on-boarding, quoting, negotiation, and purchase order placement of indirect, production, and aftermarket products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate potential suppliers for direct parts and repair services;
  • Identify and address shortfalls in the supplier base to support commodity requirements;
  • Expedite quotes and orders from suppliers to ensure delivery, quality, and corporate KPIs are achieved;
  • Generate weekly and monthly supply chain management reports and provide them to project managers;
  • Prepare import and export permits;
  • Provide administrative support for online travel booking systems;
  • Monitor generic email inboxes and distribute correspondence accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to administer affairs between organizations and suppliers, driving discussions and resolving problems;
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with export/import and trade compliance requirements;
  • Demonstrated experience in cost analysis, proposal negotiations, and expediting/shortage management;
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities.
