Job Title: College Canteen Assistants

Description:

We are seeking motivated and experienced staff to join our team as College Canteen Assistants in Gisborne, Victoria. The role involves preparing menu items, handling cash, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, managing stock levels, and supporting the manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare menu items for students and staff.
  • Handle cash and operate a point of sale system.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Manage stock levels and maintain inventory.
  • Support the manager in ensuring smooth operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a café or canteen environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly and provide excellent customer service.
  • Certificate in Food Handling and Safety.
  • Current Working with Children Certificate (E).

Benefits:

  • Part-time permanent seasonal position.
  • Approximately 15 hours per week.
  • $23.38 per hour, paid according to award rates.
