Exciting Opportunity for a Concrete Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Concreter to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career in the construction industry, working on various projects that require expertise in concrete work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, Pour and Finish Concrete Work: The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, pouring and finishing concrete footpaths, kerb and channel, crossings and other related tasks.
  • Backfill and Topsoil: The candidate will also be required to backfill and topsoil areas as needed.
  • Measure and Order Concrete: Accuracy is crucial in this role, so the successful candidate will need to measure and order concrete for each project.
  • Assist in Cutting and Removing Existing Concrete: In some cases, the candidate may be required to assist in cutting and removing existing concrete to make way for new work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Reinstatement Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in reinstatement of footpaths, crossovers, pram crossing and kerb and channel is essential.
  • HR Truck Licence: The successful candidate must hold a valid HR truck licence.
  • Traffic Management Ticket: A traffic management ticket is desirable but not essential.
  • White Card: A white card is also a requirement for this role.
  • Working with Children Licence: A working with children licence is necessary due to the nature of the work.
