Occupational Therapist for Remote Work Rehabilitation

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team as a Rehabilitation Consultant. The successful candidate will provide rehabilitation expertise to clients in regional NSW, working from their home base in Sydney.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives and provides excellent customer care. As an Occupational Therapist, you will help your clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.
The ideal candidate will have Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy (AHPRA), willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways, ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey, commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers, willingness to work in the community with a valid driver's license and access to own vehicle, and current or able to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
- Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
- Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
- Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
- Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
