Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team as a Rehabilitation Consultant.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Occupational Therapist to make a real difference in people's lives, providing excellent customer care and helping clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.

Responsibilities include undertaking assessments relevant to occupational therapy, designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity, identifying barriers and supporting individuals to achieve maximal work participation, and understanding various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes.

Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders is also a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this position, applicants must hold an Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy (AHPRA) and have a willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.

A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service is also required, along with the ability to work in the community and have access to a driver's licence and own vehicle.
